Mervin Jayaseela has been involved in pastoral care and recovery ministries for the last 30 years. Having walked a personal journey from brokenness to recovery; Mervin now has a great passion to see others experience God’s healing and restoration.
This passion, combined with a prophetic teaching gift has seen many hundreds of hurting people encounter the life changing Presence of God to put them on a journey to healing and wholeness. In 2008 Mervin gave up a senior ministry position, which he had held for the previous ten years, to begin a more specific ministry of recovery and deep inner healing.
His primary focus has been one of ministry to the individual; helping people break free from destructive life patterns and mentoring them into a close and intimate relationship with Christ.
Alongside a passion to see people set free from the bondages of their past; Mervin as a gifted teacher of the Word of God uses his unique ability to open up the Bible in a way that makes practical application easy. Holding a Degree in Biblical Studies and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training; Mervin is also well qualified to equip those keen to develop their knowledge and practical skills for Kingdom living. Mervin is married to Leanne, has two teenage sons, Jesse and Kyle, and lives in Perth, Western Australia.
